A. Louise "Weeze" Endress, 95, Altoona, passed away Monday morning at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Roland and Ruth (Botteicher) Condon.
On July 4, 1940, she married Louis J. Endress at St. Mary Catholic Church, Altoona, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Louis R. (Patricia) Endress of Duncansville; two daughters: Jacqueline Aungst of Huntingdon and Pamela S. Beckwith of Altoona; and a brother, Gordon Condon of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Endress; a grandson, Scott; and a sister, Vivian McCullough.
Louise was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired as a bookkeeper after many years of service. She was a life member of Bavarian Aid Society. She was an avid pinochle player, and she also enjoyed taking casino bus trips and attending family get-togethers.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Altoona, Monsignor Timothy Stein officiating.
Committal will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Altoona.
The family request that donations in memory of Louise be made to the charity of one's choice.
