Jessie Louise (Roystan) Sanborn, passed away September 18, 2016.
She was born March 31, 1925 in Woodsville, NH, daughter of Byron and Nellie Roystan.
She went to hairdressing school, she was a waitress at Lake Placid Resort in NY and she worked at a paper mill in VT. She also worked as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, co-owner at Sanborn’s Service Center and owner-operator at Sanborn’s Auto Parts Store.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard C. Sanborn and two grandsons, Jarrod M. Sanborn and Tim Patnode.
She is survived by three children and their families; Betty and Tom Patnode, Donna and Ed Sanborn-LeDoyt, Richard Calvin and Roberta Sanborn and grandsons Toby (Jody), Justin (Tammy), Joshua (Amy) and great grandchildren Alexis, Samantha, Jarrod, Cole, and Gwen, two sisters Emma and Arlene.
Services will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2 PM at the First Congregational Church, 1171 Main St., Coventry.
