Matthew Gazo was born abt 1873 to Michael Gazo & Jeanetta Stavunovska in Slovakia. He was married to Anna Shuchta. He immigrated in 1902, and lived with his daughter, Mary Gazo Tirpak's family per the 1910 census in Lansford, Carbon County, PA. Matthew worked as a coal breaker.He was living at 819 East Ridge Street in Lansford when he died on Jun 3, 1932 in Hazleton at the State Hospital .
