Funeral services for George Adkisson, a cotton buyer in Greenville for a number of years and a postal employe here for the past three years, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Greenville.

The Rev. J.Powell Eaton, pastor, and Rev. H.L. Fullerton of Mineola will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park.

Mr. Adkisson died at 3:30 p.m. yesterday in local hospital. He resided at 5504 Wesley at the time of his death. A Shriner and a member of the Hella Temple of Dallas, he was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

He was born in Greenville, the son of J.W. and Florence Wise Adkisson and was married to Miss Nancy Dial, June 3, 1923.

He was a brother of J.F. Adkisson, president of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greenville and also was a brother of Wise Adkisson, of Wise Adkisson and Sons, Florists, Greenville.

Pallbearers are Tommy Blackburn, W.E. Williams, Howard Jacobs, Elmer Cummings, J. Adkisson and W.R. Adkisson.

Survivors are his wife; one son, Major Goerge (sic) Adkisson Jr., Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Elizabeth Adkisson, Greenville; two brothers, Wise Adkisson, Greenville, J.F. Adkisson, Greenville; a sister, Mrs. Glen Davis, San Francisco, Calif.; five grandchildren.

Coker-Mathews-Peters funeral home is in charge.
