Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darius McKay of Bonita, Texas officiating. Burial will be in the Bluegrove, Texas Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Lillie was born on Sept. 11, 1912 to William Albert and Annie (DeLong) Davis in Buffalo Springs, Texas. She was a long time resident of Bellevue, Texas and a member of the First Baptist Church. She moved to Henrietta, Texas in 1989 and lived in the Henrietta Care Center for the past four years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, James D. (Buddy) Anderson, her parents, six brothers and her twin Willie D., Newburn, Marion, Walter, Ira and Leo Davis; four sisters, Rebecca Mabry, Elizabeth and Beulah Davis, and Lena Arnold.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Bindel and Annie Lou (Ann) Howard of Nocona, Texas; one son, J.W. Anderson and his wife Thelma of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, Jim Howard and his wife LaMesia of Gainesville, Texas, Jerry Howard of Nocona, Texas, Judy Ott of Burneyville, OK and Courtney Bindel of Arlington, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Jamie and Jared Howard of Gainesville, Texas, Brandon and Nicolas Ott of Burneyville, Okla., and Tricia and Jacob Howard of Mineral Wells, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
