Caryl M. Zander, age 77 of Black Earth, WI died on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Homestead Living in Waunakee, WI. She was born May 8, 1939 in Madison to Bernard and Cecilia (Meier) Brabender. She was married to Robert J. Zander in 1959. He died on August 26, 1997. Caryl was the owner and operator of The Hair Chamber in Cross Plains from 1974 until 2015. She was a former member of the Diocese of Madison Choir and St. Francis Xavier Church Choir. She rejuvenated the Black Earth Field Days Parade.
Caryl is survived by her children:

Carla (Tom) Mabin of Florida,
William (Marilyn) Zander of Black Earth,
Clifford (Lori) Zander,
Rachel (Kevin) Ripp both of Cross Plains,
Bernard (Michelle) Zander of Black Earth,

4 great-grandchildren;

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2106 at ELLESTAD CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME, 1710 Center St., Black Earth, WI, with Deacon Norbert Brunner officiating. Burial will be at St. Barnabas Catholic Cemetery in Mazomanie, WI. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM on Monday, September 26, 2016 at ELLESTAD CAMACHO FUNERAL HOME in Black Earth, WI.
