Mrs. Edna Roark, 88, of Corning, AR., left this present life and went to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family Friday evening, September 23, 2016 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. Roark was born in Naylor, MO., on September 4, 1928. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, fishing, yard sales, playing piano, singing and spending time with her loving family. She was a member of the Apostolic Fellowship Church in McDougal, AR.

She married her husband of forty-five years Mr. Carl Lee Roark on March 9, 1946 in McDougal, AR., He passed away on July 15, 1991.

She is survived by three sons Jerry Wayne Roark and wife Debra of Doniphan, MO., Tony Roark and wife Pam of Corning, AR., Wendell Roark and wife Mary Jo of Corning, AR.; two daughters Linda and husband Aaron Naumann of Saint Charles, MO., Nancy Oliver of Hot Springs, AR.; one brother Sonny Rigdon of McDougal, AR.; five sisters Melda Karnes of Corning, AR., Mamie Adams of McDougal, AR., Fern Bartlett of Malvern, AR., Barbara DeMay of East Prairie, MO., Loretta Blankenship of Union City, TN.; twelve grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband; her parents Jess Vinson and Alice Arthur (Campbell) Rigdon; brother J.V. Rigdon; sister Daisy Robinson; granddaughter Jamey Hovis and son-in-law Ronnie Oliver.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 12:00 PM until the time of service.
