Frances Zoe (née Westerby) Clark Crowell Bryant
Frances Zoe (Westerby) Bryant passed away on Sept 18, 2016 at Pioneer House in Sacramento, CA. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on Feb. 14th, 1927, the daughter of Howard Westerby and Pansy (Burnside) Westerby. She moved to the Napa Valley as a child, then to Onalaska, WA, returning to Napa as an adult where she was a homemaker while raising her son, and later worked at a chocolate factory.
She was predeceased by her siblings Raymond, John, Betty, Donald, Orena (Westerby) Shill, ex husband Carter Clark (Jack), 2nd husband Jesse Crowell and 3rd husband Joe Bryant.
Fran loved the outdoors, gardening, cooking, many crafts, her dogs, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. After retirement she and Joe bought an RV and traveled all over the country and eventually moved to Weatherford, TX until Joe's death.
She is survived by her son Howard Clark and partner Dorothy McIver of Greenfield, MA, step daughter Nancy Forrest of McAlester, OK, brother Gordon Westerby of CA, grandchildren Curtis Clark (Linda), Kevin Clark, Lisa Guess (Gary), of CA, step granddaughter Keely Forrest, and great grandchildren Matthew Clark and Lisa Guess. Also her nephew Ken & his wife, Judy Shill of Sacramento CA and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.
River Cities Funeral Home of West Sacramento is in charge of funeral arrangements and burial will be at St. Helena Cemetery in St. Helena, CA. A "Celebration of Life" for Frances will be held at a later date.
