Russ A. Anderson, 67, of Grand Island died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Gollaher Chapel at Trinity United Methodist Church in Grand Island. The Rev. Russell Anderson will officiate.

Interment will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.

Russell Alvin Anderson was born Sept. 27, 1948, at Grand Island to Lewis G. and Ethel L. (Johnson) Anderson.

Russ worked for Rio Grande Pipelines, Capp Homes, Chief Industries New Holland and many years as a construction contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Dee Anderson of Grand Island; brother, Craig A. Anderson of Lincoln; sons, Russell Anderson of Phillips and Jeffery Anderson of Lincoln; stepsons, Claude (Teresa) Rinke, Lester Rinke, David Rinke and Don (Lisa) Rinke, all of Lincoln; three grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Yonce of Columbus, Ohio, Amanda Plugge of Lincoln, and Joshua Anderson of Orlando, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Ethel, and his brothers, Arthur H, Anderson and Kenneth C. Anderson.
