Elsie Lucille (Bailey) Kidd, 95, of Anderson went to be with the Lord Sept. 20, 2016. She died at Countryside Manor Health and Living.
Elsie was born, Oct. 9, 1920, in Knightstown to Jesse and Blanche (Dashler) Bailey.
She was a homemaker and member of Chesterfield Christian Church.
Elsie is survived by her daughter, Betty (Jim) McAlhaney of Anderson; two grandchildren, Nicole Taylor and Michael Pierce; great-grandchildren, Chase Smith, Blake Smith and Aubrey Taylor; her son-in-law, Phil Sells; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William H. Kidd; daughter, Judy Sells; three brothers, Marvin, Charles and Jess Bailey; and her sister, Thelma Bennett.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service is handling the funeral arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
