Mrs. Alice Bercaw Mutchler, widow of Howard Mutchler, former Congressman and Democratic leader in Northampton County died Wednesday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Gilles, 311 My. Prospect Avenue, Newark, NJ. Mrs. Mutchler left Easton permanently seven years ago, spending her winter in Florida. She had planned to go to California to spend the winter with her niece, Mrs. James Laubach formerly Miss Edith Bercaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bercaw, of Easton.

Mrs. Mutchler was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Bercaw, of Easton. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Easton.
