James Andrew Hart left his earthly body at the Shepherd of the Hills Nursing Home in Branson, Missouri on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

He was born on April 11, 1950 in Mondovi, Wisconsin to Kenneth and Anna (Wulff) Hart. He married Velma Rongholt on June 21, 1969. They lived and worked in Mondovi and Hayward, WI and moved to Staples, MN in 1985 when he became District Manager for Hardware Hank. In 1988 a medical error caused a brain injury which led to his total disability. After enjoying several vacations in Branson, MO, Jim and Velma decided to move there in 2004. He was able to be at home until February of 2016 when he went to the nursing home.

Jim is survived by his wife, Velma, of Branson; his daughter Michelle Hart (Dan Finken) of Staples MN; son Erick (Janell) Hart of Motley, MN; son Daniel (Betty) Hart of Tampa FL; and seven Grandchildren: Rachel Korfe (Shayne Koppes) and Amy Korfe of Staples, MN; Christopher Hart of Motley MN; Mariel and Logan Hart of Tampa, FL; Nick and Emma Finken of Brainerd, MN. He is also survived by his brother Larry (LeeAnn) Hart of Como, MS; A nephew Jeremy Hart of Lake Powell, AZ. And niece Amanda Hart of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother.

A visitation will be held at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi, WI. Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5 -7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in rural Mondovi, with a visitation at church 1 hr. prior to service. Interment will be at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Cemetery following the service.
