James C. Brickey, 90, of 1145 S. College St., died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 1975, at the residence.

He was born in Red Bud, the son of James Denton and Permillia Denham Brickey.

Prior to his retirement, he was the manufacturer of the Brickey Horse Radish for many years.

Surviving are two sons, James L. of Sullivan and Allen D. of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Chris (Helen) Ulm of Springfield; one stepson, Edison Haywood of Jacksonville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Thelma Geisness of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Dell of Murrayville; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services were at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Rev. Frank Marston performed the ceremony and the attendants were Mrs. Helen Ulm, the bride-groom's daughter, and Edison V. Haywood, son of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Brickey are now at home at 1145 South College street.

He is in the produce business.
