Patent trader - Thursday, June 25, 1970, Pg. 4: - MAHOPAC — William H. Peck, 66, of Rolling Greens, died Sunday at Putnam Community Hospital, after a brief illness. He was born March 11, 1904, in Towners, son of the late William and Mary Callahan Peck. He was married to the former Delia Waldron who died several years ago. He was an employee of the Leemac Sand and Gravel Co. He was a resident of Mahopac for most of his life and was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local 137 of Briarcliff. He leaves a son, William H. Peck Jr. of Southington, Conn.; two daughters, Miss Audrey Peck and Mrs. Robert Shay, both of Mahopac; four sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Anderson of New York City, Mrs. Frances Hanks of Milford, Conn., Mrs. Theresa Miller and Mrs. Evelyn Bunyea of Mahopac, and four grandchildren. A funeral service was held Wednesday morning at the Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel. The Rev Leo J Insinga, pastor of the Red Mills Baptist Church, Mahopac Falls, officiated. Burial was in Raymond Hill Cemetery, Carmel.
