News has been received of the death of Edward Ermey, 34, who died Tuesday morning in a hospital in Biloxi, Miss., after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr. Ermey has been stationed with the U. S. Air Force in Spokane, Wash., and was in Biloxi on a special assignment.
He was the son of the former Emporians, Betty McClintock and Jack Ermey, who now live in Toppenish, Wash. Funeral services will be held in Toppenish.
Mr. Ermey is also survived by his wife and three daughters. Three surviving aunts in Emporia are Mary Schaefer, 639 Wilson St., Marguerite, Pantle, 929 Peyton St., and Mrs. Elmer Kirchoff, 223 South East St.
