Beatrice Louisa Conrath Berle, 93, of Faber, Va., passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at her residence.She was born October 25, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Theodore Roy Conrath and Margaret Carle Conrath.
She will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. She is now happily reunited with her husband, Andy Berle.
Beatrice is survived by her four children, Margaret B. Hollowell (Brent) of Ferguson, N.C., Isobel B. Wiggs (Joseph) of Mebane, N.C., Jennifer B. Turner (David) of Faber, Va., and David C. Berle (Catherine Holmes) of Athens, Ga.; thirteen grandchildren, Seth Dasho (Cynthia), Noah Dasho (Jen), Andy Wiggs (Julia), Sam Wiggs (Amy), Katherine Turner, Jake Hollowell (Patricia), Silas Turner, Lauren Hollowell, Devin Hollowell, Hannah Berle, Chloe Mantione-Holmes, Orion Mantione-Holmes, and Gabriel Mantione-Holmes; and eight great-grandchildren.
Beatrice was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was an antique dealer who specialized in decoys, Nursing Home Activities Director, and Kindergarten Teacher.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Trinity Episcopal Church with The Rev. Canon Mark D. Furlow officiating . Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity Episcopal Church, 475 Oak Ridge Road, Arrington, VA 22922 or any organization of your choice that works towards finding a cure for cancer.
