Beatrice is survived by her four children, Margaret B. Hollowell (Brent) of Ferguson, N.C., Isobel B. Wiggs (Joseph) of Mebane, N.C., Jennifer B. Turner (David) of Faber, Va., and David C. Berle (Catherine Holmes) of Athens, Ga.; thirteen grandchildren, Seth Dasho (Cynthia), Noah Dasho (Jen), Andy Wiggs (Julia), Sam Wiggs (Amy), Katherine Turner, Jake Hollowell (Patricia), Silas Turner, Lauren Hollowell, Devin Hollowell, Hannah Berle, Chloe Mantione-Holmes, Orion Mantione-Holmes, and Gabriel Mantione-Holmes; and eight great-grandchildren.
Beatrice was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was an antique dealer who specialized in decoys, Nursing Home Activities Director, and Kindergarten Teacher.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Trinity Episcopal Church with The Rev. Canon Mark D. Furlow officiating . Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity Episcopal Church, 475 Oak Ridge Road, Arrington, VA 22922 or any organization of your choice that works towards finding a cure for cancer.
The family would like to extend our appreciation for the Hospice of the Piedmont staff. Their sensitive and loving care of our mother enhanced her life. Special thanks to Kim Swindell, Nancy Campbell, and Pat Choloski. We also thank Cynthia Garner for her loving and supportive care of our mother.
