Born June 5, 1934 in Kansas, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of James Eli Hardcastle and Effie Spencer Hardcastle.
Edna married Conley Messer in May of 1959 in Roswell, New Mexico. She worked as a nurse's aide in Sunset Villa in Roswell as well as private in home nursing. Edna was of the Nazarene faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Messer; two daughters, Nancy Woods and Joanie McCall; and two sisters, Emma Rogers and Ethel Tunell.
She is survived by four children, [name, wife's name and location redacted], [name, husband's name and location redacted], [name and location redacted], and [name and wife's name and location redacted]; thirteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
