He graduated Nashville High school in 1948 and then served 2 years in the army during the Korean conflict. After his discharge from the army, he worked for Kay Jewelers in Texarkana and Peacock Jewelers in Tulsa, Oklahoma before opening Westfall Jewelers in 1975 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He retired in 1996 and in 2001 he and his wife moved back to Nashville.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and 3 brothers- Orville, Odean and Glenn.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, three sons, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Services will be Friday, September 23, 2016 at 3 pm at First United Methodist Church in Nashville. Interment will follow in Ozan Cemetery at Bingen under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from2 pm until service time. Memorials may be made to the church.
