He was born May 21, 1933, on the family farm, to Frank and Ruby (Hoover) Totusek.
He was a member of the Marlin Presbyterian Church. Virgil was an avid horseshoe player, US Army Korean Vet, enjoyed trapshooting and loved to bowl with the "Irby Ridge Bowlers". He participated with the Odessa VFW, and was a 50 year member of the Odessa Grange. He was also a former American Legion Commander in Wilson Creek.
Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruby (Hoover) Totusek and one sister Margaret Totusek and survived by one brother Loren Totusek. A military graveside service will be held at the Bohemian Cemetery September 23rd, 2016 at 11:00 am.
