Silage Caves In, Branson Worker Killed in Kansas
BRANSON- (Special)- Funeral services for Robert Eugene Croft, 21, of Branson, who was killed in a farm accident at Wamego, Kan., Thursday morning, were planned for 2 p.m. today in Whelchel Chapel, Branson.
Croft was killed while working in a silo at the Peddicord Farms at Wamego. The silage apparently caved in on him.
Survivors include his wife, Letha Raye, Branson; his mother, Mrs. Willa Croft, Forsyth; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Braden, Forsyth, and Mrs. Bernice Braden, Galena; a brother, Sammy Branson, and his maternal grandfather, Claude Gideon, Forsyth.
Burial will be in Ragsdale Cemetery at Forsyth.
