Daughter of Joseph James and Vallie Hattie (Crow) Prather. Doris married first, James Edward Wagnon on the 28th of October, 1933, in Apalachee, Morgan county, Georgia. Edward Wagnon died on the 7th of December 1944, as a result of injuries sustained in a military vehicle accident in France, during WWII. Doris then married Herman Edward Arthur on the 8th of October 1950, at the Peachtree Christian Church, in Atlanta, Georgia.
