Jack was born on July 23, 1949 in Wilmington, DE, a son of the late John E. Dilks, Jr. and Mary (George) Dilks. While living in Wilmington he was a client of the Elwyn Institute where he enjoyed various tasks assigned to him. In 2003 he moved to Jamestown to be closer to family and attended Lifespan and the Adult Center for Enrichment.
Jack is survived by a brother, Barry Dilks and his wife, Arlene of Jamestown; a sister, Cynthia Dilks of Colorado Springs, Co; two nieces, Melanie Dilks and Alexandra Mallow and her husband, Jeremiah; and a great niece, Brynlee Mallow.
A celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, 1804 Guilford College Road, Jamestown. A visitation will follow the service Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Adult Center for Enrichment, 4100 Well Spring Drive
