Susie was the daughter of Simeon M. and Sarah (Glines) Fernald. She lived in Haverhill throughout her life. Susie married Albert Amazeen on February 17, 1891 in Haverhill. On February 22, 1896 she gave birth to a stillborn girl. In the process of giving birth Susie died of child birth shock. She was twenty-two at the time of her death.
