Vera Inez Cole was born the 2nd child and oldest daughter of Bertha May Bunyan and James Seely Cole.
Aunt Vera and her older brother, Gerald, were born in Reno County, KS. The family moved to Woodward County, Oklahoma Territory, for the 2nd Land Run. My Grandfather, Ralph, was born there, and then the family returned to Reno County, Kansas, to stay.
On 1 June 1916, Vera married William Earl Gaddis.
5 Children were born to them: Eileen - died young, Otis - died young, James, Gene, and June.
