Viva was born August 2, 1921 in Nederland, Texas to Albert and Edolie Abshire.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. Viva was a member of the Altar Society and a Eucharistic Minister. She devoted her time delivering communion to the homebound, hospitals and nursing homes. Viva had a loved for cardinal birds. She was known for helping others and playing jokes. Viva also loved to tell jokes.
Viva was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Abshire and Edolie Guidry Abshire; husband, Raymond Chelsey Woodall and 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sister, Gracie Abshire DeCuir and brother, Revis James Abshire and his wife Margaret. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memories.
