Ruth M. Graeff, 63, died Tuesday at 11:30 p.m. in her residence at 2950 Bernville Road, Bern Township.

She was the wife of Edwin C. Graeff.

Born in Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Carrie (Ohlinger) Schlappich.

Graeff was employed as a dental secretary by Dr. Fred Williams, Reading, and was last employed for 14 years as a medical secretary by Schuylkill Valley Medical Center, Leesport, last working Oct. 26.

She was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Bernville.

Graeff is also survived by four brothers: Chester Schlappich, Robesonia; George Schlappich, Bernville; Hiester Schlappich, Womelsdorf; and Roy Schlappich, Houston.

Other survivors include three sisters: Ellen Zerbe, Hyde Park; Elsie, widow of Irvin Bare, Bernville; and June, widow of Paul, Egan, Bethel.

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home Bernville. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
