FUNERALS
Dave Templeman
Funeral services for Dave Templeman were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener and Campbell chapel by Rev. L. N. Field of Bethlehem Lutheran church and Rev. C. S. Kleckner of Central Christian church. During the service Clide I. Carr sang two solo selections, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Carr. There were many beautiful flowers banked about the casket and the chapel was filled by friends. Those acting as pall bearers were Elmer Johnson, Chester Johnson, Howard McGee, Howard Milton, Oscar Grovo and H. Olson. Honorary bearers were James B. Cochran, D. S. Cameron, Elmer Sonstelie, Gordon Rognlien, E. F. Dickinson and J. M. Montgomery. Interment was made in the Conrad Memorial cemetery, where the Odd Fellow lodge took charge led by M. S. Spink.
OBITUARY
Charles Dave Templeman was born July 13, 1879, at Oakwood, Virginia. He grew up in Oakwood and 33 years ago came to Kalispell. Here he was employed by the Great Northern railway with the bridge and building crew for 32 years until his retirement. For 31 years he was foreman of his crew.
He joined the Odd Fellows lodge in Keezeltown, Va., as a charter member and later transferred to Lake Lodge at Kalispell. He was a member of the Great Northern Veterans' association.
Mr. Templeman passed away December 29 at his home on Third avenue east north in Kalispell, after an illness of several weeks.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Templeman; a stepson, Carl Jacobson of Kalispell; a grandchild, Roger Dean; three brothers, George of Kalispell, William of Troy, and Frank of Portland, Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Fisher of Rexford, Montana.
