Arthur W Fargo, a well known dairyman, died quite suddenly at 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon at the Evergreen Dairy Farm on the Ellicott Street Road. Diabetes was the cause of death. Mr. Fargo was able to attend to his duties on Thursday. He was taken worse on Friday.

Mr. Fargo was born on the Fargo homestead in Stafford on August 13, 1863. A year later he was taken by his parents to the farm on which he died and which had always been his home. Mr. Fargo was widely known among agriculturists as a breeder and lover of fine Jerseys, exhibits of which in this locality he always attended. He was a member of the Stafford Grange, of the First Baptist church and of the Baraca class of the Sunday school.

Mr. Fargo is survived by one son, Robert; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Fargo, and two brothers, Frederick D. Fargo and warren Fargo, all of Batavia. The funeral will be held from the family home at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. Cyrus A. Johnson pastor emeritus and the Rev. Paul Hayne, pastor fo the First Baptist church, officiating. The interment will be in the Elmwood cemetery.
