Melvin A. Tiffany was born June 3, 1889 to Clarence E. and Arabell Stott Tiffany in South Dakota. Mr. Tiffany came from South Dakota to the Flathead in 1900 and later was employed by the local power and light company as a lineman. He retired from Pacific Power and Light Company after 36 years and six months of service.

Mr. Tiffany was married to Jennie Brittenham in December 1916 at Kalispell. She preceded him in death on February 26 of last year.

Mr. Tiffany was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lake Lodge 50, and was a social member of Aerie 234 of the Kalispell Eagles.

Surviving Mr. Tiffany are one step-son Curtis A. Brittenham of Denver, Colorado; six brothers, Claude Tiffany of San Diego, California, Reuben and Eugene Tiffany of Port Orchard Washington, George Tiffany of Richmond, Washington, and Edgar and Earl Tiffany of Spokane, Washington; three sisters, Mildred Brassie and Edna of Bremerton, Washington, and Mrs. Mertal of Port Orchard, Washington.

Mr. Tiffany died March 3 in Kalispell.
