Daniel L Franke life-long resident of Richmond Township and for the past seven years superintendent of the poor of Osceola County passed away at the Reed City Hosp. He was taken ill about two weeks ago and when his condition became worse he was taken to the hospital. Born in Richmond Township to Theodore and Wilhelmina Franke. He resided on the farm until 1928 when he moved to Reed City. He was married to Rosa Roberts in 1895. Surviving are the widow, two sons Reuben and Theodore of Reed City and one daughter Mrs John Benkert of Antioc California.
