A native of Sylvester, GA, Mr. Grubbs moved to Albany, GA in 1941. He was the owner and operator of Earl's Radiator Repair and was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God and attended the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dillard and Ida Rose Johnson Grubbs, his first wife, Ernestine Creel Grubbs, four brothers, Harry Grubbs, Donald Grubbs, Carl Grubbs, and Richard Grubbs, and six sisters Clara Grubbs Calhoun Golden, Willie Grubbs Allen, Gladys Grubbs, Rhoda Grubbs Youngblood Brown, Alma Grubbs Little, and Nadine Grubbs Cravey Tumlin.
The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
