Cochran – Ruthie Butts McCain, age 88, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at her residence. Private graveside services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McCain, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late Emmett and Pauline Purser Butts. She was the wife of the late Elmer L. McCain and was preceded in death by her infant daughter Kathy McCain and her son Ronnie McCain. She was retired from Middle Georgia College and was owner and operator of the Prissy Missy Shop. She was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church.
