Alvin served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1955.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Maudie (Osborne) Jamar, brothers Oma, Henry, Albert and his twin brother Calvin and sister Edna Wood.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, two sons-in-law, five grandchildren and their spouses, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Southwest Church of Christ. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Ada.
