RITA KAY AYCOTH DANEKk, 56, passed away peacefully in her home in League City after a bravely fought battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Rita was born in Weimar, Texas on July 7, 1960 to Charlie and Agnes Aycoth. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1978 and attended Alvin Community College. Rita worked in accounting for many years and worked as Corporate Controller for Watergate Yachting Center for the last 12 years. She enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and photography.
Rita is survived by her husband, John A. Danek; her daughter Angela Mallatt-Guillen and husband Ramiro Guillen; her siblings Peggy and Charles Brady, Janice and James Turner, Sandra and Arthur Bryce, Eunice and Fred Valdez, Andrew and Michelle Aycoth, and Patsy and Don Ceccacci, and John’s children Cheryl Lee Birch, John and Ranay Danek, and Robert and Heather Danek, as well as grandchildren, Zachary, Jillian, Tony, Nicholas, Hannah, Nathan, Jillian Jacob, Lauren and Sophia, all of whom she loved dearly.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Agnes Aycoth; and her brother Charlie E. Aycoth Jr.
The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., September 17, 2016 at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Up the Street Club, 508 W. NASA Pkwy, Webster, TX 77598.
