Sandy Ewing, 65, of Fort Dodge, died September 14, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Sandra Stufflebean, the daughter of Dewey and Betty (Spike) Stufflebean, was born June 9, 1951 in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge Schools. On May 12, 1979 she was united in marriage to Deral Ewing. She worked as a waitress at Happy Chef and was currently employed with Becker Florist. Sandy loved being outdoors, horseback riding, walking, fishing and being with family and her dogs.
Sandy is survived by her husband Deral; her daughters Cynthia (Ned) Bacon of Colfax, Lori (Dennis) Summers of Dayton and Toni Jean (Justin) Deal of Fort Dodge; step-sons Jason (Linda) Ewing of Otho and Randy (Deb) Ewing of Daytona Beach FL; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her siblings Tom Stufflebean, Richard (Jackie) Stufflebean, Judy (Bill) Andrews, Tim Stufflebean and Mari Stufflebean. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Beverly Fredricksen and Dennis Stufflebean.
