To many words are required to describe his character. Charlie was the most giving, and forgiving man ever know on our earth. He served his lord faithfully for 87 years.

Charlie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Evanston, IN where he served in various leadership roles, including directing the church choir for 40 years. He was also a founding member of Evanston Civic Association. He was well know for his beautiful voice and honored to sing for many weddings and funerals.

He was involved not only with St. John's choir, but also Lincoln Hills Community Chorus, Schwiezer Fest Musicals "Grandfathers Four" and several other barbershop Choruses/quartets over the years.

Charlie was a lifelong Farmer, and worked for National Farmer's Organization and Rural Route Mail Carrier.

He loved spending time with his family, playing euchre, Chrisney High school Class of '47 reunions and watching sports especially IU basketball and Heritage Hills patriot football and basketball.

He will be greatly missed by all.

'Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise" Luke23:43
