Funeral services for Allen H. Flint, 86, of Bellflower will be Monday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Bellflower with burial in Bellflower cemetery. Mr. Flint died August 6, 1998 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.

He was born September 12, 1911 at Bellflower, s/o G. Hatch and Daisy Mae Calhoun Flint. He married Esstel Evelyn Turpin on June 2, 1934 at Decatur. She died January 10, 1986. Survivors include two sons: Richard Allen of Provo UT; and James Stephen of Columbus IN; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, George W. of Clearwater FL; and two sisters: Arlene F. Morrison of Orem UT; and Helen F. Woods of Odell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith C. Flint (1909- 1976) .

Mr. Flint was a retired farmer and a retired student housing department employee of the University of Illinois. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rantoul. He was a former member of the Bellflower Fire Protection District and McLean County Protective Association
