Leonard “Lenny” Lewis Witthar, 65, of Polo, MO, entered eternal life September 13, 2016, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Lenny entered this life January 9, 1951, the son of Leonard Warren and Margaret Mary Donahue Witthar in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He grew up around Liberty, MO, and attended Liberty High School. Lenny moved to Polo, MO, in 1994. His employment included equipment operator and supervisor for Missouri Department of Transportation, Brothers Conoco, Liberty, MO, and machine operator for Decker Realty, Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Witthar was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary McKinley, and a grandson Robert Lee Moran. Lenny leaves behind his daughter Crystel Witthar of Pleasant Valley, MO, son Leonard Witthar of Kearney, MO, daughter Sandra Witthar of Liberty, MO, son Brandon Witthar of Kansas City, MO, sister Pat (Gary) Pendergrast of Polo, MO, sister Kay Pendergrast of Lawson, MO, brother Danny (Beverly) Witthar of Kearney, MO, brother Tom Witthar of Mobile, AL, sister Gracie (Clyde) Smith of Lathrop, MO, brother John Witthar of Lathrop, MO, brother Bill (Suzanne) Witthar of Kearney, MO, brother David (Wanda) Witthar of Carrollton, MO, and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Stith Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Polo, MO. Interment will follow at Prairie Ridge Cemetery west of Polo, MO.
