Sam was born in 1942 in Lawrenceville, VA.
He was operations manager at the Cone Mills plant in Haw River for many years.
He then went on to own and operate Sam's Hot Dogs at the BMOC outlets until his retirement.
Sam was proceeded in death by his brothers Sonny and Charles, his father Herman and his beloved mother Jessie.
A private memorial service will be held graveside in Lawrenceville, VA.
