Children: Abraham Maluhia, Thomas Faye, Alvin Joseph and Gwendolyn Kailikaihualani Akana (Mrs. Arthur McCabe). Mr. Akana attended McKinley High School and became associated with the Territorial Bureau of Conveyances in 1916. He was with the bureau until 1930, when he joined the Territorial Land Court, where he has been since and is Assistant Registrar. He is a member of the Hawaiian Government Employees' Association, Hawaiian Chinese Club, and a former member of the Hawaiian Civic Club.
