Passed away at Bickford Assisted Living.

Son of Scott and Ida Selby.
Married Helen McGinnis in December 1946. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include brother Kenneth; sister Ethel; son Edward; one grandson.

1944 graduate of Alamo High School.

Eston enlisted in the Army Air Corps, serving as a B-17 ball turret gunner with the 457th Bombardment Group stationed in England. He completed 13 combat missions over Nazi-occupied Europe earning the Air Medal, American Theater Ribbon, EAME Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, Bronze Star Medal with one Bronze Cluster and the World War II Victory Medal. He then proudly continued his service as an Air Force reservist, with active duty assignments during the Korean War.

Retired from RR Donnelley in 1986 after more than 39 years

Eston and Helen enjoyed playing golf and wintering in Florida. Eston was a life-long Cubs fan and enjoyed watching IU basketball and Chicago Bears football.

Memorial services 11am Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Visitation 9am until time of service.
