his son-in-law, Chas. E. Bullis, in
north Princeton, on Monday night,
June 28, from ailments incumbent
upon old age. Mr. Swanson was 79
years of age.
Funeral services were conducted at
the Bullis residence by Rev. J. W.
Heard of the Methodist church yesterday
afternoon at 2 o'clock, and the burial
was in Oak Knoll cemetery.
Deceased is survived by one son,
Joseph Swanson of Princeton, and
two daughters, Mrs. Chas. E. Bullis
of Princeton and Mrs. Julius Johnson
of Spokane. His wife died about a year
ago, and for two years he had lived
with Mr. and Mrs. Bullis, having
removed to their home from Bogus
Brook, where he resided on a farm
for about ten years.
Mr. Swanson was a man of sterling
qualities and had many friends.
