Alice Adelaide Burrelli, 95, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016.
Born Alice Adelaide Withoff on July 9, 1921, in Wigan, England, she was the third of nine children. Her parents were Frederick William and Anne Wighoff (née Keenan).
Alice was a war bride, married in England to Charles Elmer Barlow of Manitoba, Canada, who was killed in action. In 1948 she married Adolph Edward Burrelli, who passed away Jan. 21, 2004.
Surviving are her daughter, Leslie Bartal and her husband, Kenneth Alfred Bartal, Drums, who was adopted in 1948 as Leslie Maria Burrelli (Leslie Denise Barlow); sisters, Winifred Hithcen, Blackpool, England; and Matilda Zakula, Juno Beach, Fla.; brother, Frederick Withoff, Isle of Man, UK; and two grandchildren, Lisa Denise Bartal and partner, Keith Alexander Millen, Bridgend, Wales; and David Kenneth Bartal and wife, Marisa Bartal (née Maghran), Pittston. Six great-grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held in South Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sierra Vista, Ariz.
