OBITUARY:
GLENDA JENNINGS 78 Glenda Rae Jennings of Kennewick, passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family, on September 5, 2016.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17 at at Grace Baptist Church, 4403 W. 10th Ave, Kennewick. Glenda was born in Kennewick to Martin and Leatha Abken on September 13, 1937.
She married Roy Jennings on February 14, 1953 and they had two sons, Gary and Jim. Glenda was a homemaker and after raising her sons, she became a hairdresser and owned her own beauty salons. She was also a talented artist, known for her wonderful landscapes painted on saw blades. Glenda had a very charitable nature and remained active in the church her whole life. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years.
She is survived by her sons, four grandsons and eleven great-grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, Glenda will be cremated and her ashes given to the family.
