Minnie Huffman was born 21 January 1915 in Wingate, Texas, one of two daughters born to the marriage of Henry Huffman and Susan Elizabeth Swacy. Minnie's sister was Winnie (Wilson). Minnie's mother died during the flu epidemic in 1918. Henry Huffman married May M. Helm, their children were A. Lee, Raymond E., Edna J., Betty L., and V. Lois Huffman.

1920 Santa Anna, Coleman County Texas census lists Henry Huffman 30, Minnie Huffman 04 1/12, Winnie Huffman age 08, and Henry's mother Mary Jane Huffman age 69.

1930 Taylor County Texas census lists Henry Huffman age 40, May M. Huffman age 37, Winnie M. Huffman age 18, Minnie J. Huffman age 15, A. Lee Huffman age 09, Raymond E. Huffman age 07, Edna J. Huffman age 03 5/12 and V. Lois Huffman age 1 4/12.

Minnie Huffman married William Hooper Farmer. There were two children born to this marriage: William Hooper "Billy" Farmer and Ruthy Jean Farmer Myrick Faurie.

Minnie Farmer married Audrey Oliver Myrick after 1936. There were two children born to this marriage: Morgan Orton Myrick and Marlon Audrey Myrick.
