JESSE MARTIN MOORE, of 920 Summit Ave, died suddenly yesterday noon while working on a railroad car at the Jamison Cold Storage Door Company. He was 65. He had been an employee of the Jamison Company since 1941.
Born in Indians Springs, he was raised in the Downsville district, the son of Joseph and Susan Martin Moore, and lived in Hagerstown for the past 11 years.
He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, Rhoda Johnson Moore, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs Ruth Bowers, Fairplay; a stepson, Edwin L Clark, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs Mary Holtzman, Hagerstown; and Mrs Ethel Potts, Williamsport; and one grandchild.
Services at A K Coffma Funeral Home onThursday at 2 pm, De J Edward Harms officiating. Interment in St Paul's Cemetery, near Clear Spring.
