Claude Richard McKissack, 70, of Danville, transitioned from this life at 2:52 p.m. Sept. 6, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Claude was born June 2, 1946 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Clyde Smith and Alberta McKissack. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Burl (lil-bruh), Albert Isaac and Gregory Duncan.

Claude leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Alberta Isaac; seven children, Deshawn McKissack, Claude Jr., Myron Adams, Bobby Adams, Sherona Taylor, Karen Westland, and Darrius Lee; siblings, Joyce Wilks, Alma Duncan, Amanda Isaac, Rose (Curtis) McCray, Patricia (John) Herring, Ray Isaac, Edward (Valerie) Isaac, Robert Isaac, and Joey (Christina) Isaac; special friend: Shirley Lee and a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly.

He worked for Danville Sanitation District for many years. Claude enjoyed barbequing, fishing, sitting on the porch eating lunch and spending time with his children and friends.
