Elizabeth Grossi, wife of Henry Grossi, was killed in an automobile accident at the intersection of Floradale and Central in Lompoc. She was a passenger in a car driven by her son when it was hit broadside by a US Army vehicle. A subsequent inquest into the accident determined the Army was at fault.
