Roger A. Bianchi, 89, died January 8, 2003.
He was born June 6, 1913 to James and Grace Cocchi Bianchi in Garliff, Kentucky. Raised in Highland Boy, Utah, he graduated from Bingham High School. He married Mildred Patrick in 1940. Following her death, Roger married Veda Winegar Tippetts. Veda preceded him in death.
Roger was an accomplished trumpet player and played in dance bands for many years.
Survived by children, Ron (Kathy) Bianchi, Russell Bianchi, Sharon (Dennis) Kresser, Nancy (Paul) Brown, also many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest (Darlene) Bianchi, sisters-in-law Lillian and Lucille Bianchi.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 13, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox (7825 So.) Holy Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the IHC Hospice.
