BORIACK, , CARL PFLUEGER Born August 25, 1935 and passed from this life into his everlasting home with the Lord on December 6, 2006. He was born in Hamilton, TX to Rev. Carl T. and Evelyn Boriack nee Pflueger. Carl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy L. Boriack; his two children, Pamela Holland and C. Phillip Boriack; grandchildren, Alyssa and Brad Starnes, Jessica and Patrick Maddocks, Jamie and Uriel Aleman, and Joni Boriack; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Colby and Emma Starnes and Elena Boriack, Also, by sister, Sherry Lauridsen and her husband Bob. He founded Boriack Interiors in 1971, which continues as a thriving business throughout Texas. He has many friends and loved ones that will remember Carl with fondness and respect. He was a life long member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church with his last church being St. Peter Lutheran Church in Gun Barrel City, TX. Throughout his life, Carl was a living example of Christian attitude and life. He lived his life with honor, dignity and integrity. With his long battle with diabetes and renal failure, Carl continued to be an example of "never giving up" and continued to take care of his family. Pallbearers will be: grandsons, Patrick Maddocks and Uriel Aleman; nephews, Stan Shaw Jr., Karl Longacre, Shannon Griffin and Matt Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Longacre, Stan Shaw Sr., and Bob Lauridsen. The viewing is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, 1226 South Elm, Kemp, TX 75143, (903) 498-3371. The funeral is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, December 9, 2006 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 130 Luther Lane, Gun Barrel, City, TX 75156, (903) 887-0486.
